5 out of the 11 men responsible for the jewelry heist in San Ramon was charged with robbery in East Bay. During their March 17 jewelry heist in San Ramon, a staggering $1.1 million worth of jewelry including a Rolex was stolen. Little did they know, one piece of the stolen Jewelry will be the key to their doom.

$1.1 Million Jewelry Heist In San Ramon
Last March, Heller Jewelers in San Ramon was ransacked by 11 men. CCTV footage from the aforementioned establishment showed suspects smashing the store violently to get hold of the store’s Jewelries. According to a report from NBC, they were able to take 38 watches and other pieces of Jewelries which is estimated to be around $1.1 million.
Along with the stolen goods is a Rolex watch containing secret GPS. The tracking device left a trail that was later used by the police for their arrest.

Suspects For Jewelry Heist In San Ramon Arrested
A report from MSN revealed that the Rolex become instrumental for the investigation. With the device giving them location, they were able to get hold of different CCTV footage. DNA evidences was also gathered from the gateway car that was used.
Several search warrants were issued during the investigation. The investigation resulted in the arrest of 30-year old Sunia Mafileo Faavesi, 35-year old Ryan Kentrell Montgomery, 33-year old Paul Christopher Tonga, 34-year old Kyle Vehikite, and 30-year old John Ioane Tupou. Tupou was not yet arrested but he was already charged and booked in Santa Rita Jail in Dublin along with the others. They were held with no bail.
Other suspects are yet to be identified. The investigation is still ongoing with the police is working on the identity of the other suspects for the jewelry heist in San Ramon.
