Texas head coach Charlie Strong added one of the state’s best play-makers to the 2016 commitment list when Navasota standout Tren’Davian Dickson announced his commitment to Texas today.

Dickson has some of the best ball-skills in the state and a nearly effortless running style in which he glides down the field, what stands out most about Dickson in person is his knack for getting behind the secondary to create big plays. He is an impressive route-runner that gets on defenders more quickly than normal because he controls his body so well.
Dickson caught 90 passes for 2,166 yards and 39 touchdowns (a national high school record) as a junior.
He committed to Texas over Texas A&M, Alabama, USC, Baylor and Oklahoma State.
