Two 14-year-olds were shot on Friday, and a 16-year-old is being charged with both manslaughter and aggravated assault.
Two teenagers had been shot, according to Dallas Police, who responded to a shooting complaint in the 3100 block of Harry Hines Boulevard around 4:40 in the morning. The teens were transported to a hospital by Dallas Fire Rescue after they were called.
According to DPD, one of the 14-year-old lads passed away on Sunday from his wounds. It is anticipated that the other 14-year-old youngster will live.
The male suspect, 16, was first taken into custody on suspicion of two charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. One case of severe assault will be escalated to manslaughter, according to the DPD. The teens’ names will not be disclosed due to their age. The inquiry is still on.
