The Hoka Hey nation is moving on to the regional round of the UIL playoffs after dispatching Nederland 51-26 at NRG Stadium on Friday night.
As has been their calling card of late, Manvel got off to a hot start in a 21-0 first quarter rout. Nederland limited the Mavericks to just nine points in the next two quarters, but Manvel came back strong, bookending the game with another 21-point effort in the fourth.
Manvel moves on to take on Cedar Park (11-1) at Waller ISD Stadium this Friday night.
