The Judson Rockets started their district schedule off with a win on Friday night, beating district rival Steele 58-21.
It looked to be a battle early, with both teams finding the end zone multiple times in the first quarter, but the Rockets continued the onslaught throughout the game.
Judson was led by senior running back Sincere McCormick’s 168 rushing yards and three touchdowns. As has been their calling card, Judson’s ground game has continued to be strong, and they racked up a total of 403 yards accounting for five touchdowns on the ground.
The Rockets will continue their district schedule next week on the road against San Marcos (1-3).
