Class 4A features heavy movement in weekly AP poll

Listed below are this week’s results of the Associated Press Texas High School Football Poll. First-place votes are in parentheses, records, points based on 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1, and the team’s ranking in last week’s poll.

The most movement came in class 4A. Midlothian Heritage moved up to number three after going undefeated to start their season. Liberty Hill (3-1) jumped from number seven to the fourth spot and the previous number 10 team, Giddings (4-0) has now moved to fifth.

A previously unranked in Class 3A was Gladewater (4-0) who went from unranked to number nine.
