The Manvel Mavericks had their second consecutive district win in a game where they also reached the 60-point level for the third time this season as they bested Madison 63-6.

Manvel is now 3-1 in district play and 4-2 overall.

Quarterback Josh Coltrin completed 11-of-15 passes for 207 yards and three touchdowns. Senior running back Garrison Johnson added two touchdowns and 76 rushing yards.


Ladarius Owens was once again involved in the several aspects of the game and finished with 104 all-purpose yards and a touchdown.

Manvel now turns their attention to the 1-3 Milby Buffs on the road tomorrow night.
