The Shadow Creek Sharks continued their winning ways on Friday night in a tightly-contested 35-34 win over the Foster Falcons.
Shadow Creek had to come from behind, trailing by 34-14 entering the fourth quarter, but they had a big closing stanza, scoring 21 unanswered to complete the comeback.
A missed PAT earlier in the game by Foster ended up making all the difference in the narrow victory for Shadow Creek.
The Sharks were led by senior quarterback Jamarian George, who completed 13 of 26 passing attempts for 212 yards and three touchdowns. George also accounted for an additional 41 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Senior Marquez Huland added another rushing touchdown and led all rushers with 103 yards, but he was also active in the passing game, as he caught 6 passes for 73 yards and a touchdown.
The Sharks are now 8-0 on the season and 5-0 in district. They will host Fort Bend Hightower (3-5) on Friday.
