Accident-prone intersections and tornado-ridden areas are the top places in Oklahoma that cause accidents daily.

I-44 takes the top spot in the most dangerous places in Oklahoma list. The I-44 Corridor or mostly known as the “I-44 Tornado Corridor” is one of tornado prone places in Oklahoma. I-44 is not only recognized as one of dangerous places in Oklahoma but also on the top list of Popular Mechanics as one of the most dangerous places on the planet. Since the early 1900s, there have been more than 140 tornadoes in the area.

Vehicular-Related Accidents Occur Every Year In These Places In Oklahoma

Just like I-44, Intersection 35 also made it in the list of Most dangerous places in Oklahoma. On this intersection, numerous traffic-related fatalities happen every year. When the data was collected between 2007 and 2012, 15 persons were killed in traffic accidents along this area. Driver inattention is the main cause of these collisions.

Last on the list is the Broken Arrow Expressway. This expressway has a high volume of traffic every day, and several vehicular incidents have happened along the Broken Arrow Expressway and Memorial Drive exits.
