9/13 at Bay Area Christian • 21-0 WIN

Coach Erik DeHaven: “The Dragons win again, 21-0 for 3-0 on the season. We played a very physical Bay Area Christian football team on Friday night. The offense had 234 yards with 211 in the air. The story of the night was on the defense side of the ball which held Bay Area Christian to 184 total yards. Bay Area Christian had 67 rushes for 153 yards, averaging 2.2 yards a carry and 31 total passing yards.

Our defense is running a new scheme and our kids are buying into what we are doing. We have run this defense for three weeks now and we continue to improve. This was a sloppy physical game on both sides of the ball. On offense, we are very close to where we want to be. Once we get everyone doing their job we will be hard to stop. I am very proud of our team’s efforts once again. This was a great game for our players and team before the district play begins next week.”

Simply put I am a fan of Texas high school football. I attend as many high school football games as I can - 82 games in 2017, 86 games in 2018, 76 games in 2019. I also have some limited computer skills and I use those to provide information to the #txhsfb community. I am always looking for new ways to provide information to the #txhsfb community.
