SAN ANTONIO – Any high school kids hoping to break in the Alamodome turf before the Oakland Raiders move to San Antonio will finally get their chance.
Many Thanks to @SCUCISD @NISD & @NEISD for getting the @Alamodome to reverse its decision and allow high school playoff games! #txhsfb

This news comes on the heels of yesterday’s report that the Alamodome had sent out an email to Texas high school football coaches stating that the Alamodome would not host any high school playoff games this season.
Cibolo Steele head coach Scott Lehnhoff said the Dome would be available for at least the first weekend of the playoffs with potential for it to host games during the fourth weekend and regional finals.
It’s been a busy news day for the Alamodome after San Antonio was one of the nine potential cities to host a College Football Playoff championship game, but ultimately lost out to Atlanta, Santa Clara and New Orleans.
