On Saturday, 12/5/20, the Allen Academy Rams faced the Kerrville Our Lady of the Hills Falcons in a TAPPS Six-man Division 2 State Quarterfinal game at San Marcos Academy.

Allen Academy scored just 15 seconds into the game on a Brent Tucker run to grab an early 8-0 lead and never looked back.

In the first quarter, Tucker would run for two touchdowns and throw another (to Aaron Boegner). Ethan Lucas would also throw a touchdown to Boegner and the Rames led 32-0 after one quarter of play.

Tucker would run for another touchdown and return two, yes two, interceptions for touchdowns along with Boegner returning a kickoff for a touchdown in the second quarter. The Rams led 64-14 as time expired in the first half and the game was called in accordance with the six-man mercy rule (a lead of 45 points or more at half time or later).

The Rams return to San Marcos Academy this Saturday, 12/12 at 6pm to face off against the Marble Falls Faith Academy Flames in a TAPPS Six-man Division 2 state semi-finals game for the right to advance to the state championship game the following Friday.

Simply put I am a fan of Texas high school football. I attend as many high school football games as I can - 82 games in 2017, 86 games in 2018, 76 games in 2019. I also have some limited computer skills and I use those to provide information to the #txhsfb community. I am always looking for new ways to provide information to the #txhsfb community. If you have ideas and suggestions, tag or DM me on Twitter.
