The Jersey Village Falcons drew first blood in Saturday’s area round game from Legacy Stadium in Katy. Adam Tran connected with Quincy Jones on 1 17-yard pass to put the Falcons up 7-0 with 7:43 remaining in the first.
The Ridge Point Panthers would score the next 27 points in the game over the course and the 2nd and 3rd quarters.
All four touchdowns were rushing touchdowns by Keith Jackson (40 yards, 2 yards, 1 yard, 7 yards) to put the Panthers up 27-7 with 6 minutes remaining in the third quarter.
Jersey Village cut the lead to 27-14 on Adam Tran touchdown pass to Dionel Burrell from 13 yards out with 10 seconds remaining in the 3rd quarter.
Ridge Point extended the lead to 34-14 with 9 minutes remaining in the game on a 16 yard touchdown pass from Bert Emanuel to JP Richardson.
Jersey Village would but the lead to 34-21 with 6:58 remaining in the game on a 6-yard TD pass from Tran to Jones.
Ridge Point advances to play the Atascocita Eagles on Saturday, 12/26/20 at 1pm at the University of Houston’s TDECU Stadium.
