The North Shore Mustangs will be in the regional finals for the 6^th consecutive year following their 47-22 victory over the Katy Tompkins Falcons on Thursday at Legacy Stadium.

North Shore outgained Tompkins 602 to 196 yards.

Dematrius Davis starred for the Mustangs completing 14 of 17 passes for 302 yards and 3 TDs. Davis also carried the ball 12 times for 84 yards and 4 TDs.

Shadrach Banks had 11 receptions for 251 yards and 2 TDS.

The rushing was fairly evenly distributed. In addition to Dematrius Davis’ 84 yards and 12 carries, Brannon Davis had 66 yards on 8 carries and Rashaad Johnson had 62 yards on 9 carries.

Marquis Shoulders was the star for the Falcons with 14 carries for 137 yards and 1 TD to go with 4 receptions for 22 yards and 1 TD and a touchdown return for a 85-yard TD.

Jalen Milroe completed 10 of 22 passes for 50 yards.

North Shore will host the winner of Saturday’s game between Ridge Point and Atascocita on New Year’s Day at 2 p.m. at Galena Park ISD Stadium.
