Cedar Hill tops Tomball Memorial 38-21 to Advance to 6AD2 Region 2 Finals

The Cedar Hill Longhorns beat the Tomball Memorial Wildcats 38-21 on Saturday at Waco ISD Stadium to advance to the 6AD2 Regional Finals to be played Saturday, 1/2, 3:15pm at Globe Life Field in Arlington.

Cedar Hill lead 21-14 at the half and extended the lead to 28-14 early in the 3rd quarter.

Tomball Memorial then marched down the field but Richard Rodriguez was hit just before crossing the goal-line and fumbled the ball through the end zone ending the Wildcat threat.


Kaidon Salter starred for Cedar Hill accounting for 387 yards of total offense and 4 touchdowns. Salder has scored 12 touchdowns in this postseason.

Colton Marwill starred for Tomball Memorial completing 14 of 25 passes for 191 yards and two touchdowns.

Cedar Hill responded on the next drive with a 3-yard run for a touchdown from Kaidon Salter and pretty much slat away the game with a 35-14 lead at the 2:07 mark of the 3rd quarter.
