Mansfield Summit Advances to 5AD1 State Semifinals

On a cold a windy day at Globe Life Park in Arlington, the Mansfield Summit Jaguars got off to a hot start, feel behind, and then rallied to win to advance to their first ever state semifinals.

The Jaguars led the Red Oak Hawks 7-0 at the first quarter and stretched their lead to 14-0 in the second before Red Oak rebound to tie the game before the half.

A wild 3rd quarter saw the Hawks takes 35-28 lead.

The Hawks pushed their lead to 38-28 early in the 4th before Summit rallied to take a 41-38 lead with 38 seconds left in the game. Summit held the Hawks in check and advances to the state semifinal with the 41-38 win.

Simply put I am a fan of Texas high school football. I attend as many high school football games as I can - 82 games in 2017, 86 games in 2018, 76 games in 2019. I also have some limited computer skills and I use those to provide information to the #txhsfb community. I am always looking for new ways to provide information to the #txhsfb community. If you have ideas and suggestions, tag or DM me on Twitter.
