The Waco Live Oak Falcons defeated the Marble Falls Faith Academy Flames 46 to 41 to win the TAPPS Sixman Division II Football Championship Thursday afternoon at Waco ISD Stadium.
The Flames jumped out to 12-0 lead before the Falcons scored 30 straight points to lead 30-12 with 6:46 remaining in the 3rd quarter.
The Falcons would never trail again though the Flames cut the Falcons lead to 46 to 41 with 1:14 remaining in the game. The Flames attempted an onside kick but touched the ball before it went 15 yards and the Falcons were able to run at the clock and secure their 5th TAPPS state title and their first since 2017.
