This past weekend many unsigned free agents, rookies and players who have been with their respective teams less than a year reported for a mini camp. Among those hopefuls looking for a spot on the team was former Bobcats tight end Lawrence White.
Unfortunately for White, things didn’t quite pan out the way he wanted it to with the Oakland Raoders.
“I feel like I played well,” said White. “But I ended up not making it past rookie mini camp. The tight end depth chart is crowded, so it didn’t work out.”
It wasn’t all bad for White though, who said he learned something about himself.
“[Overall] it was a great experience though, and I definitely feel that I can compete at that level now. So I’m just working with my agents to get another opportunity set up.”
