9-year old Serabi Medina was riding her scooter outside their apartment building when a neighbor allegedly shot her. The father, who witness the whole incident were reported to tackle the gun man, but it was too late. Serabi Medina had died.

9 –Year Old Serabi Medina Shot And Killed
In a report from Lex 18, Michael Goodman allegedly shot Serabi Medina while she was riding her scooter across the street. The report also mentioned that the shooter had first complained that kids playing outside were too loud, one of the kids includes Serabi Medina.
The father was reported to have witnessed the incident and had tried shouted at Michael Goodman after seeing him pointing a gun towards Serabi Medina. However, the shooter ignored the father and proceeded to shoot Serabi Medina in the head.

Serabi Medina Shot And Killed While Playing
After shooting 9-year old Serabi Medina, her father tackled the shooter which caused the gun shot which went straight to the shooter’s eyes. A report from NBC Chicago mentioned that the shooter was transported to the hospital as well as 9-year old Serabi Medina. However, Serabi Medina was pronounced dead not long after reaching Stroger Hospital.
Serabi Medina and her father moved to Portage Park 2 years ago. It was also revealed that Serabi Medina’s mother was murdered in 2018.
