Accused 17-Year-Old In December Shooting Deaths Of Two Teenagers

In connection with the Dec. 30 fatal shooting of two teenagers in a car, Dallas police on Thursday detained a 17-year-old.

Who Was The Suspect?

Officers were summoned to the 6100 block of Mountain Creek Pkwy just before 5:30 p.m. on December 30, when they discovered two teenage guys shot inside a car.

The 16-year-old boy was rushed to a hospital where he passed away from his wounds, while the 15-year-old guy died at the spot. The teens’ names will not be disclosed due to their age.

Obbie Perez, 17, was taken into custody by police on January 11 and charged with capital murder. After being transported, he was placed under bond for $2 million at the Dallas County Jail.
