Von Miller Addresses Assault Allegations: ‘I Know Myself, My Character, and Our Relationship
Miller told AP Sports, “I’ve got the right people on the job,” dismissing the matter. I know myself. Know my character. I know my personality. I understand my girlfriend-me relationship.”
Police received a “major disturbance” report about Miller allegedly assaulting his girlfriend during an argument. Miller fled before the police arrived. Though she wasn’t hospitalized, the victim was treated for minor injuries like neck bruising.
Miller called it a “crazy day,” emphasizing that everything was exaggerated. The linebacker faces 2–10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine for third-degree felony assault on a pregnant woman. Miller posted a $5,000 bond on the charges.
Von Miller Denies Serious Charges Amid Affidavit Allegations
AP Sports got an affidavit alleging that Miller touched the woman’s neck twice, took out a portion of her hair, and flung her onto a couch. Miller denied the serious charges and expressed annoyance that his name was associated with them. He said, “Whatever happened, I hate it. I loathe my name being associated with that, and it will be cleared up soon.”
Miller admitted having relationship issues like any other couple but strongly refuted the charges. Miller hopes to prove his innocence and clear his name of the incident while judicial proceedings continue.
