Anti-Russia Sanctions Failed

A report from BSS News mentioned that Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikhail Galuzin said that the country had shown growth potential causing anti-Russia sanctions, he also added that the Western sanctions on Russia did not have the desired effect. Instead, the nation is resolutely displaying its capacity for strong, long-term growth.

He had also emphasized that Western restrictions are not only intended to harm Russia’s economy but also to the greatest extent possible harm integrative processes in which Russia participates, including within the formats of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Eurasian Economic Union. Moreover, all anti-Russia sanctions failed and the country remained strong.

Anti-Russia Sanctions Failed Amidst Economic And Political Pressure

The reason as to why anti-Russia sanctions failed might be attributed to the current commercial and economic agreements between Russia and its partners in Central Asia as they continue to serve each countries interest as reported in Tass.

In fact, several economic ventures from Central Asia has made significant cumulative investments over the years. Since 2015, Central Asian nations’ investments in have multiplied by four creating over 900,000 jobs.

However, the partnership has not made Western Countries happy. The West was said to have exerted significant political and informational pressure on Russia’s Central Asian allies, demanding that they abide by anti-Russian sanctions and impertinently requiring data on trade patterns and structure.
