James Gordon Meek, a 53-year-old Arlington man was a former ABC Journalist pleaded guilty for Child Sexual Abuse Material Charges last Friday.

According to a report, James Gordon Meek had sent and received sexual images of children while travelling to South Carolina way back in 2020. His iPhone were found to have materials showing minors engaging in sexual activities. The minors from the videos and pictures were reported to be below 12 years old. One video also showed an infant being sexually abused.
Upon his arrest, it was discovered that he had several other electronic devices that contains explicit and sexual pictures and videos of minors.

Arlington Man Charged With Transportation, Distribution And Possession Of Child Porn
The Arlington man was arrested in January according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter. The FBI Washington Field Office’s Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force had conducted an investigation following a report that a child pornographic material was uploaded to a website, when the FBI traced the IP address, the Arlington man was then indicted with three counts.
Meek was charged with transportation, distribution and possession of child porn. He pleaded guilty with transportation and possession.
He was schedule to be sentenced on September 29 with the possible minimum of 5 years or maximum 40 years in prison.
