Following reports of a bomb threat, Carroll High School was evacuated on Wednesday afternoon, according to the authorities. An anonymous tip was received via Stop It Alert, according to the City of Southlake Department of Public Safety (DPS).
Carroll ISD said that personnel and students were moved to Durham Intermediate in a safe manner. Firefighters and police are looking into it. According to DPS, the CHS parking lots are currently off-limits to visitors and the perimeter has been established for the investigation.
The district announced that CHS pupils are being excused from Durham Intermediate in order to facilitate reunification because of the ongoing investigation into the bomb threat.
Carroll ISD further stated that Durham Intermediate will provide transportation for any CHS students who must take the bus home. Following an investigation, South Lake DPS declared that no problems had been discovered at the school and allowed it to reopen.
