Following an investigation by detectives from the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies into a series of burglaries that occurred from Marshall, Texas, to Dixie Inn, Louisiana, a guy is being extradited from Texas to Louisiana. The break-ins did not result in any documented injuries or deaths.
What Happened?
Bossier City’s Sterling Spirits II, which is located in the 700 block of Duckwater Landing, was broken into on July 9 by a gang of armed men.
A window was shattered when they entered the company, according to surveillance footage, and the robbers stole about 40 alcohol bottles before fleeing. When BSO deputies arrived, they discovered that the thieves had already departed.
The truck had been seen in Marshall, Texas before the crime in Bossier City, and BPSO investigators pursued leads there.

A collaborative investigation was conducted by detectives from the Marshall Police Department, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, and the BSO. They identified a series of related break-ins along I-20, from Marshall to Dixie Inn.
After conducting an investigation, authorities identified Luis Gutierrez-Aguilar as one of the suspects. He was also named as a suspect in additional incidents in the Marshall, Texas, region as well as a break-in at the Dixie Inn.
In Marshall, a search warrant was obtained for Gutierrez-Aguilar’s home and car. Authorities claim they have found proof of the break-ins.
The allegations against Gutierrez-Aguilar include two counts of illegal use of a weapon, aggravated criminal damage to property, and simple burglary. An arrest warrant has been issued for him. The process of extradition to Bossier Parish has begun. More arrests are anticipated, according to the authorities.
