Bowling Green Resident Joshua Moore Faces Drug and Firearm Charges

Bowling Green resident Joshua Moore, aged 39, found himself in possession of a Glock 19 nine-millimeter pistol on a fateful December 22, 2021, a published article reported. What complicated his situation was his prohibition from owning a firearm due to prior felony convictions that were discovered in court documents.

Diving into Bowling Green resident Joshua Moore’s past, a trail of convictions reveals his entrapment with the law.

On September 13, 2017, the United States District Court, Western District of Kentucky, witnessed Bowling Green resident Joshua Moore being convicted on counts of conspiracy linked to possession with intent to distribute substantial quantities of methamphetamine.

The legal web tightened further with additional convictions of possession with intent to distribute substantial quantities of methamphetamine and possession of ammunition.

Bowling Green resident Joshua Moore’s sentence emerged, casting him into an eight-year and four-month period of imprisonment. Moore also faced the consequence of a four-year and three-month prison term for violating the conditions of his supervised release.

The legal system mandated that these sentences run concurrently, culminating in a comprehensive sentence of eight years and four months of imprisonment.

Previous Charges of Bowling Green Resident Joshua Moore

According to WCLU Radio, on August 24, 2009, Bowling Green resident Joshua Moore’s name was in Warren Circuit Court records. The charges that day included first-degree fleeing or evading the police and the illicit possession of a methamphetamine precursor.

Adding to Bowling Green resident Joshua Moore’s woes were charges relating to drug distribution. On April 4, 2022, he was implicated in the distribution of 21.09 grams of methamphetamine.

A mere nine days later, on April 13, 2022, the legal spotlight swung back on him as Bowling Green resident Joshua Moore was linked to the distribution of 24.6 grams of methamphetamine. Closing this chapter of drug-related charges was an accusation of possessing a mixture containing a detectable quantity of methamphetamine on May 31, 2022.

Each of these events unfolded within the bounds of Warren County, painting a vivid picture of his localized illicit activities.

At the time of Bowling Green resident Joshua Moore’s most recent offenses, specifically on Wednesday, August 16, he was already under federal supervised release, stemming from his prior felony conviction. This detail adds an additional layer of complexity to his legal predicament. A four-year period of supervised release awaits him upon his release from prison.
