A heated argument erupted between a teenage employee and an adult customer which resulted to Commerce City Shooting. The teenager was critically injured and was brought immediately to Children’s hospital.

According to a report from Denver 7, authorities had responded to a call at around 4:07 in the afternoon last Thursday. The call reported an active shooting at Santiago located between 72nd Avenue and highway 85.

The report mentioned that the entire Commerce City Police Department responded immediately to Commerce City Shooting. Upon their arrival, they had discovered the bloody teenager with a gun shot wound.

Commerce City Shooting: Santiago Employee Shot After ‘Exchange Of Gunfire’ With A Customer After Heated Argument

The customer and the juvenile employee, who was armed, engaged in gunfire after a heated argument. The gunfire caused damage to the customer’s vehicle as reported in CBS.

The customer fled the scene in a car after the employee was gravely hurt as reported by the police. The customer is said to have then got out of the car and fled on foot while a driver pulled over and dialed 911.

Police mentioned that they are now looking for the suspect. This is an on-going investigation and the police is still working on the case.
