DC Police Ask for Public’s Help in Finding Car from Southeast Shooting

Someone was shot late at night in Southeast DC and was taken to the hospital.

According to Metropolitan Police, around 10:32 p.m. There was a call for help from the cops in the 600 block of Malcolm X Avenue Southeast on Sunday evening, January 14, 2024. A call came in, telling them that someone had been shot. When they got to the scene, someone was hurt. Sources say that the person who was shot did the killing in the 3000 block of Southeast Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. It was taken to the hospital right away so that medical help could be given to the person who was hurt. The cops are still trying to figure out what happened during the shooting on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue Southeast. They want to know what happened and who had something to do with it. Please let them know. The people who live in the area are being asked to give any information they may have that could help solve the case. This will not only keep the neighborhood safer, but it will also make sure that those responsible are caught and punished.

The DC police want to know more.

People in the neighborhood are now being asked to help the police figure out what happened. Do not try to handle anything yourself if you know what it is. The police are giving a reward of up to $10,000 to get people to talk about what they know.
