Tioga-NiceTown
If you search for Tioga-Nicetown, the result will yield gunshot, crime, and crime rate. This is when you know things are terrible. This is a rugged area of town, just south of Hunting Park and close to Upper North Philadelphia.
This place has been a rollercoaster. This location was crowded throughout World War II. Then, similar to other local areas, deindustrialization resulted in white flight, and soon unemployment and poverty came in as reported in Road Snack.

This area is rife with gang activity. The Black Mafia, Latin Kings, and numerous motorcycle gangs are among the larger, more organized gangs that operate in the area.
