During a confrontation in a small Texas Panhandle city, several people pulled firearms and shots were fired, injuring three people and killing one guy, according to authorities on Sunday.

What Happened?

A 911 caller reported hearing gunfire at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Saturday while informing the dispatcher about a disturbance in Borger, which is roughly 50 miles northeast of Amarillo, according to the police. According to local media, a restaurant was the scene of the incident.

When police arrived on the site, they discovered several victims of gunshot wounds, according to the police. According to the police, three individuals were brought to the hospital and were listed as critically ill but stable. One man passed away at the site; his name is being kept quiet until his family is notified.

There has been no announcement from the police regarding suspects or arrests. The 12,000 residents of Borger are home to a police department that stated they thought the incident was unique and that the community was not under any additional danger.
