A family of four was found dead inside their Upper West Side Apartment after a wellness check last Monday. The 41-year old father, 40-year old mother together with their children ages 1 and 3 were stabbed to death.

In a report from the New York Post, the father of the 40-year old woman went to check the family after hearing nothing from them since Sunday. Together with a relative, they had knocked on the family’s door and received no response.
After not hearing any sound inside the apartment, they decided to drill the lock and found the pool of blood inside. After witnessing the horrific scene, they had immediately called 911.

When the authorities responded to the scene, they had uncovered the bodies of the four family members, all were dead. According to a report from CBS, the bodies of the two children were found inside their living rooms with stabbed wounds on several parts of their body.
The 40-year old woman, the mother was found in the hallway with a deep cut in her throat. The father was then found in their bed, dead with a knife beside him.
Initial investigation points out that the culprit was just among the family members since the apartment was locked from the inside. The father was believed to be the culprit.
