A Florida Man arrested for over speeding while driving Nissan Murano along Interstate 75 in Naples was reported by Law and Crime. The incident had prompted a chase with Collier County deputy with their vehicles speeding over 120 mph.

Florida Man Arrested For Over Speeding
At around 1 am in the early morning of July 19, a deputy was alerted by an over speeding Nissan Murano. The deputy’s radar had alerted the officer of a vehicle speeding at 117 miles per hour. The driver was then requested to pull over, but had ignored the command.
According to the arrest report, the driver was ‘attempting to flee’ the patrol vehicle and had ‘refused to stop’. This prompted the officer to chase the Nissan Murano with a 120 mph matching speed.

Florida Man Arrested For Over Speeding “Felt Like He Was In Grand Theft Auto”
The Nissan Murano driver tried to enter a community. However, the community was gated resulting on him being cornered by the deputy. He was handcuffed and was put at the back of the patrol car. According to his arrest report, he told officers he he had panicked when he saw the patrol car.
The driver was later identified as 22-year-old Gary Miller from Florida.
The Florida Man arrested for the over speeding and feeling from an officer’s arrest said that he “felt like he was in Grand Theft Auto,”. He was charged with felony and will be schedule for an arraignment on August 14.
