After one individual was shot inside the Walmart store entrance in the 900 block of E. Randol Mill Road, Arlington police are conducting an investigation.
The victim and the suspect, subsequently identified as 20-year-old Treyvon Bonner, reportedly went to the store together to utilise a cell phone buy-back kiosk, according to investigators.
However, authorities indicated that the victim might have attempted to flee with the money when the kiosk returned it. Investigators said that after that, Bonner drew a gun and shot the victim.
Just outside the front entrance, the victim with a gunshot wound was discovered by the arriving officers. He had injuries that were not life-threatening and was sent to a nearby hospital.
Additionally, Bonner was detained by the police and taken to the Arlington City Jail. One count of aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon was brought against him. According to police, there is no risk to the public and the gunshot was an isolated occurrence.
