Heritage Classical Academy Gains Charter Approval
Board Chair of Heritage Classical Academy, Stuart D. Saunders, expressed his enthusiasm for the charter approval.
Leading the charge as Head of the School is Melissa Martin, a seasoned educator with over two decades of experience in Texas education.
Martin’s impressive background includes notable appointments to the Texas Commission on Public School Finance and the Texas Juvenile Justice Department and recognition as one of the Innovative Teachers of Texas.
Moreover, her commitment to education led her to serve in the United States Air Force. Martin holds a Master of Education and is pursuing her doctoral degree at Liberty University.

The school’s inaugural year will welcome students in Kindergarten and Grade 1, with a vision to expand incrementally each year until it encompasses a full Pre-K to Grade 8 classical curriculum.
