In a report from Washington Examiner, artillery ammunition shortages are a growing difficulty for Russia as it faces the counteroffensive by Ukraine; this issue has an impact on both the readiness of the Russian military and the morale of its troops. With this, Russia is reported to acquire North Korean artillery shells and possibly Russia-North Korea nuclear cooperation.
The United States is against North Korea supporting Russia in this manner. The benefits Kim can obtain by doing so far outweigh the costs it can impose on North Korea for giving Russia armaments.
