The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department finally arrested Major Sanford, the murder suspect in the deadly downtown Las Vegas apartment shooting last Thursday.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Received Reports Of Shooting In Downtown Las Vegas

SOURCE– Lt. Bill Giblin with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said that on Thursday, they had received a shooting report in 400 block of S. 10th street. The report received by the Las Vegas metropolitan police was around 6:50 am.

Medical personnel had responded to the shooting scene, unfortunately, the wounded man was pronounced dead.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Arrested The Suspect Of The Shooting In Downtown Las Vegas

The homicide section of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department identified the suspect in the deadly shooting near an apartment in downtown Las Vegas as the 44-year-old Major Sanford. Major Sanford was reportedly seen shooting the victim’s apartment and then leaving the shooting scene. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department detained and arrested the suspect at Clark County Detention Center.

According to Kolo TV, Major Sanford is now facing numerous felony charges which include carrying concealed weapon, open murder with a deadly weapon, and four counts of discharging a gun into an occupied structure.
