Aubrey Young, a 36-year-old man from New Orleans, Louisiana was accused of carjacking and pulling out a gun at couple in 2022.

Louisiana Man Accused Of Carjacking A Couple Pleads Guilty In Federal Court, Now Facing Up To 15 Years Behind Bars

Louisiana Man Carjacking
A Louisiana man was indicted in Federal Grand Jury last May 3, 2023 for a charged carjacking and illegal possession of firearm.
He was initially arrested in 2022 when a couple had reported to being carjacked while they were driving alongside Vidor. The couple was threatened by the Louisiana man with a gun. After getting the couple’s keys, he sped up with their vehicle.
The stolen car was spotted by the Deputies near a gas station. Young was alerted by the Police and their altercation led up in a 150 mph car chase. Deputies installed a “Stop Stick” tire deflation device causing the Louisiana man’s stolen car to lose it tires.
He was then arrested by the authorities.

Louisiana Man Pleaded Guilty
Last Friday, the Louisiana man pleaded guilty for the carjacking charge with the presence of U.S. District Judge Marcia Crone. For his maximum sentence, he may spend 15 years in prison. The sentencing is yet to be scheduled.
