Community & Technical Colleges and qualifying nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply for the Lowe’s Foundation Gable Grants, provided they offer sustainable postsecondary skilled trades education programs. With an emphasis on trades like appliance repair, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing, the grants aim to empower institutions to cultivate a skilled workforce.

Foundations working with community and technical colleges can also apply, enriching the pool of potential recipients. However, high school programs serving K -12 students are ineligible for consideration, ensuring that the grants target entities focused on postsecondary education and workforce development.
