This ended a five-day time during which up to $1,751 in payments were made. SNAP payments in Montana are made every month on a five-day plan. In December, payments were made from December 2 to December 6. People can find out when they will get their money by using their last name, SNAP case number, account number, or Social Security number.

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) in Montana finished giving out its December checks, which could be worth up to $1,751 depending on the size of the family. As part of President Lyndon B. Johnson’s “Great Society,” SNAP payments help people and families with low incomes buy food. A monthly income limit is one of the requirements to be eligible. Payments are automatically put on mobile benefit transfer cards. The program is available all across the country, but some states and Washington, D.C. may have different rules about certain things.
