Montana SNAP Benefits January Payments Update!

SOURCE– The Montana SNAP benefits will begin its January direct payments worth up to $1,751 on January 2, 2024. The Montana SNAP benefits payments are being distributed over five days each month. For the month of December, Montana SNAP benefits distributed the direct payments on December 2 and ended on the 6th day of the month.

For next year’s Montana SNAP benefits distribution, Montana recipients will receive their January direct payments on January 2, which will end on the 6th day of the month as well.

The date that the recipients receive their Montana SNAP benefits payments varies, depending on their SNAP case number, Social Security number, account number, and the recipients’ last name.

How To Qualify For The Montana SNAP Benefits?

According to Washington Examiner, for a recipient to qualify for the Montana SNAP benefits, a single-person household cannot have a monthly income that is above $1,215. If they are an eight-person household, they cannot have a monthly income that is above $4,214.

Montana SNAP benefits can be used at grocery stores and farmers markets. The payments are also automatically loaded every month onto the recipients’ EBT cards.
