Montana Writer Accused of Stealing Old Stuff to Sell Online

A Montana author is being charged with stealing old items from a historical site.

According to Market Watch crime report, a lot of trouble for Brian A writer named Anthony D’Ambrosio likes to talk about Montana’s past. He is in trouble because the Montana Historical Society says he stole important things from them. In 2022 and 2023, he is said to have taken things like letters from a famous painter’s wife and old stock papers while pretending to be doing study.

D’Ambrosio Tried to Sell Stolen Items on eBay

They now say that D’Ambrosio tried to sell the things he stole on eBay by saying they were his. He got caught, though, when a police officer posed as him and asked him to buy some of the things. At an online court hearing in Great Falls, Montana, the author said he is not guilty.

D’Ambrosio denies the charges while the museum checks the security.

D’Ambrosio said he didn’t do it, but he’s now being sued. The things that were stolen from a museum in Helena, Montana, are being looked into by the cops. Also, they are looking into how to stop this from happening again.
