South Boulevard-Park Row, South Dallas, And Convention Center District Among The Most Dangerous Neighborhoods In Dallas

Coming first on this list of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Dallas is South Boulevard-Park Row. With a whopping population of 26,359, this neighborhood has a total of 3,255 violent crime rates and 6,492 property crime rates per 100,000 residents. South Boulevard’s crime rate is 277% higher than the Dallas average. According to Property Club, murder and gang violence are very common in this neighborhood. Due to the issues and conflict that the residents face every day, it is only justified to put South Boulevard at the top of the list of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Dallas.

Second on this list of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Dallas is South Dallas. South Dallas is another crime-prone area where you have a 1 in 16 chance of becoming a victim of any type of crime. The neighborhood crime rate is also 147% higher than the state average.

The Convention Center District is third on the list of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Dallas. Convention Center District, with a population of only 920, had a 1,591 violent crime rate and a 4,201 property crime rate per 100,000 people. Gang violence is also really common in this area.

Cockrell Hill and Northwest Dallas Are Also Included In The List Of The Most Dangerous Neighborhoods In Dallas

SOURCE– Cockrell Hill comes in fourth on the list of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Dallas. With a population of only 4,240, the crime rate in Cockrell Hill is 136% higher than the state average. There are 1 in 16 chances of you becoming a victim of any type of crime in this neighborhood.

Last on the list of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Dallas is Northwest Dallas. Northwest Dallas, with its population of only 3,961, has 51% more crime than Dallas. Even with its small population, the violent crime in this neighborhood is still high, with 1,243 crimes per 100,000 residents.
