A 71-year-old Nebraska man has been sentenced for more than 19 years of federal prison by Senior United States District Judge John Gerrard after child pornography charges.

Nebraska Man Sentenced To Federal Prison For Child Pornography
SOURCE– A 71-year-old Nebraska man was sentenced to more than 19 years in federal prison for possessing and sharing pornographic images of children, some involving bestiality and bondage.
Richard Tripp, a 71-year-old Nebraska man, was found guilty of receipt and distribution of child pornographic images by a jury.
On Thursday, the Senior United States District Judge, Judge John Gerrard, sentenced the Nebraska man to the prison term with an additional 13 years of supervised release.

Authorities Served A Warrant At The Home Of The Nebraska Man Linking Him To A Child Pornography Online Sharing Service
According to the Fremont Tribune, in July 2020, the Nebraska State Patrol investigators received at least eight reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding an online file sharing service wherein 38 images of child abuse of infants and toddlers were shared. In July 2020, the investigators were able to track down the IP address of the said online sharing service, which led them to the home address of Richard Tripp, a 71-year-old Nebraska man.
By the month of August 2020, the authorities served a warrant on the home of the Nebraska man, wherein they found at least 1,400 files of sexually explicit images of infants and toddlers, and even images of pre-pubescent minors. Prior to this, the sex offender Nebraska Man had already been convicted in 2007 for sexually assaulting two children (ages 8 and 9) where he served 10 years in prison.
