In a report from Pravda, U.S. will keep a careful eye on how Russia and North Korea’s summit will turn out. US had announced that they would continue to put pressure on North Korea and Russia with sanctions and will not hesitate to impose more limitations if required in this regard.

It was also observed that the fact that Putin skipped a summit in India because on his conflict with Ukraine has made him an outcast on a global scale. The efficacy of US export restrictions and sanctions had apparently been demonstrated. Putin now pleads North Korea for assistance.

Moscow has been looking to other nations for weapons supplies as the full-scale conflict against Ukraine takes a heavy toll on the Russian military arsenal and Western sanctions threaten Russia’s capacity to swiftly restock the inventories.

Earlier in August, Sergei Shoigu, the Russian defense minister traveled to Pyongyang to persuade the regime to give Russian military artillery ammunition as reported in Yahoo.

Moscow allegedly approached Pyongyang in the spring of 2023 and offered food supplies in return for weapons. Additionally, Russians also sought to buy raw materials to manufacture weapons to be used in war.
