President Biden’s SAVE Plan with the coordination of the US Department of Education launched a beta website which intends to process application for student loan payment.

SAVE plan or the Saving on a Valuable Education Plan was an alternative set up by the Biden Administration after the original student loan forgiveness was struck down by the Supreme court. The new plan intends to give lower monthly payments to student borrowers which can overall reduce the amount of their payment throughout the course of their repayment.
In a report from UPI, Biden’s administration aims to develop the existing student loan system to help borrowers ease the burden of paying student loan debts. In an interview, President Biden highlighted that Republicans will prioritize on providing relief to working class Americans.

President Biden’s SAVE Plan May Process Their Application In 10 Minutes
CNN had published a report saying that federal student loan borrowers may visit the website, https://studentaid.gov/idr/ , borrower may process their application in less than 10 minutes. Needed information will be provided by the site using information from the Government such as tax returns from the IRS.
Borrowers are only allowed to register one time unlike the pervious yearly application from the previous system. The full version of the website will be officially launched in August. The Department of Education assured applicants that the submission from the beta period will be carried over to the new website.
