A local Houston rapper was taken into custody on Thursday after it was alleged that she had been abducted and imprisoned in a garage for a minimum of four years. According to the publication, Houston Police accused 52-year-old Lee “Viper” Carter with aggravated kidnapping on Thursday after he was apprehended, according to Fox affiliate KSAZ.

She Got Kidnapped

The woman told authorities that she was kidnapped when she was pregnant and begging on the street about four or five years ago. The complaint states that after giving the woman $1, Carter went back to see if she needed assistance before asking her to get in his car.

The woman claims that throughout his imprisonment, she was made to live in his garage, where she endured multiple sexual assaults and was denied access to a shower or bathroom. She continued by saying that she hadn’t had a complete meal in a while but that she was permitted to exit the garage to take a shower and that she was just given chips and snacks for meals.

According to the paper, the woman eventually got in touch with the police in April 2023 by using the TextNow communication network, after Carter’s permission to use his laptop. When authorities first got in touch with the approximately 30-year-old, 5-foot-2-inch woman last year, they claimed she was “malnourished” and weighed little more than 70 pounds. Carter was the subject of a warrant.

At the moment, he is being held at the Harris County Jail, with a $100,000 bond. He is due to appear today, January 8, in a Houston court for a preliminary hearing.

Carter gained notoriety in 2008 with the release of the album “You’ll Cowards Don’t Even Smoke Crack.” His music videos have amassed millions of views on YouTube.
