Court documents show that the bond for the shooter who is suspected of shooting and wounding three persons at the Texas State Fair on October 14, 2023, has been reduced.

What Happened?

Following the shooting at the State Fair in 2018, Cameron Turner, 22, was charged on three charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Turner was first given a $1.5 million bond and taken to the Dallas County Jail. The current bond amount is $100,000.

Turner might be eligible for house arrest if he pays the bail amount, per the paperwork retrieved from the Dallas County Court website.

Turner claimed to police that he shot three people at the fair in self-defense at the time of the investigation. His account of the events doesn’t quite match the security footage from the scene, as the arrest warrant makes clear.
