Seattle Man Arrested for Allegedly Hurling Brick at Fire Department Medical Truck; Paramedics Unharmed, Vehicle Suffers Significant Damage

In a disturbing incident that took place on Tuesday, the Seattle Police arrested a 60-year-old man on charges of felony assault and malicious mischief after he allegedly hurled a brick at a Seattle Fire Department medical truck. According to FOX13, the incident occurred around noon in the Wallingford neighborhood near the intersection of N 45th St. and Bagley Ave. N. The targeted vehicle was identified as Medic 18, responding to an emergency call with paramedics onboard and their lights and sirens activated.

Fortunately, none of the paramedics inside the medical truck sustained any injuries in the attack, as reported. However, the violent act resulted in substantial damage to the windshield of the emergency response vehicle. The incident raised concerns among local authorities about the safety of emergency responders who risk their lives to attend to critical situations in the community.
