These payments, which vary based on household size, range from $281 for single households to $1,691 for eight-member households, with an additional $211 for each extra member. Eligibility for SNAP is determined by household income, with a single-person household limited to a maximum monthly income of $1,869 and a five-person household capped at $4,465.
According to Washinton Examiner, the Texas SNAP Benefits payments are disbursed over the first 10 business days of each month, with the final September payment scheduled for this Friday. The exact date of receipt depends on an individual’s eligibility determination group number. These payments are loaded onto a Lone Star Card, an electronic benefit transfer card, on the designated issuance date.
