Dominican Republic Arrest Marks Latest Legal Trouble for Tekashi 6ix9ine

This arrest came a month after Tekashi’s girlfriend, Yailin La Más Viral, was arrested for a fight. The domestic violence event is still under wraps.

Tekashi accused Yailin of striking him and his Bentley with a 2×4 in a previous incident, according to TMZ’s police report. She allegedly kicked his sideview mirror and windshield. Yailin said she did this to cause financial difficulty because Tekashi stole her money and passport.

After Tekashi posted a video of the fight on Instagram Stories, Yailin was arrested for aggravated violence, witness tampering, and felony criminal mischief. Yailin claimed to be the victim on her Instagram Story, highlighting the intricacy of the issue when Tekashi posted her $9,000 bond.

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Legal Rollercoaster Raises Concerns About His Future

It’s not Tekashi’s first legal trouble. He was accused of punching Yailin’s music producer two months before the personal quarrel. That case’s status is uncertain. In August, Tekashi was arrested in Florida for failing to appear for traffic fines over $1,000 at a hearing.

The rapper became famous in 2019 after being convicted guilty of racketeering and other counts. He cooperated with authorities against his old gang, the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, to decrease his sentence.

As Tekashi 6ix9ine’s legal battle continues, fans and observers fear his future and the ramifications of his newest incarceration in the Dominican Republic.
